Matte James held a dinner Wednesday night to celebrate her birthday early at Strip Atlantic Station. We also went to see Sex and the City 2, the late night show. We shared the joy of Carrie Bradshaw and the girls, along with fashions by Patricia Fields, with my love Nykita Garnett and Marquis Laurent.
Mattie pulled no stops with purchasing this Baker's pump. Love it.

One Night Only.
For One Night Only, your welcomed into my world. We were all dressed up for a special listening party for an artist on Noise Porn. We loaded up into the cars, drove up to the Lavish Lounge. Then came the $20 dollars door fee, along with being 21+ to eneter,(sorry Marquis) We didn't see it. So we headed back to Ken's House, where ART and Entertainment is free and enjoyable. We had a ball recording freestyled music, blow-up dolls and mini photo shoots. Just another Saturday night for us. Also, I got official news that Noise Porn 2 is in works.

Controversey.
Interview Magazine, one of favorite monthly mags, produced a controversy photo shoot. The shoot consisted of various African American models, with one Top model in the mist. In the mist of the shoot, it gave me underground NYC feel. I love it but I get a underlining notion.

My friend, Jeremy Isaish of Luxe7Mag, sent me this link of Atlanta artist remaking Michael Jackson's "Earth Song." I don't really know alot of the singers, but the voices speak for themselves. I love this version, it just seems pure and innocent.

Editor-at-Large/ANTM Judge/Fashion Lord, Andre Leon Talley has given the New York Times, the Top Five Ways to Break into Fashion.
1. He suggests learning French.
I went to Brown to be a French professor, and I didn’t know what I was doing except that I loved French. When I got to Paris and I could speak French, I know how much it helped me to establish relationships with Karl Lagerfeld, with the late Yves St. Laurent. French, it just helps you if you’re in fashion. The French people started style. Marie Antoinette was a fashion victim, and look what happened to her, but she had the first great couturier. When I got to Paris I had something to talk about when I went to lunch and dinner, and people knew. And I think people respected me because I wasn’t just a tall person in fashion, I was a tall person in fashion with something to say and a bit of knowledge.
2. Good etiquette is essential.
[ANTM winner, Krista] had a sense of etiquette — she wasn’t a potty mouth. There were some girls that were just, I don’t know where they grew up! Someone should tell them how to talk, or how to respond to other people in a stressful environment. She just expressed to me the kind of tools you need to be a successful model: punctuality, grace, manners, speaking properly to people, looking well-groomed, focused.

And the crying — I feel bad when people are on America’s Next Top Model and they’re crying and say "I don’t want to go home" and you’re like, "Okay, well maybe you won’t got home this week, but you’re going home! There are people who have such high standards you don’t put yourself in front of them dressed how you’d dress to go down the road to get yourself a smoothie.

Former member of Destiny's Child, Kelly Rowland is currently working on third studio album. She has released the first single, "Commander," and other music is starting to leak as well. Their is no current release date but it will be coming out this year. The music is very dance influenced, upbeat with a disco vibe. I love it, I just hope that Miss Kelly promotes and releases the singles correctly.

The RUNWAY Report.
Project Next did it AGAIN! I had the chance to attend the Springfest show, produced by Project Next at CAU. The RUNWAY Report showcased many trends such as metals, patterns, all-american looks and so much more. I loved every bit of the show, from the tribute to Alexander McQueen that opened the show, to the fireworks going off at the end. One of the best shows they have produced.
