Brandable.

Kardashian Clan made their way on the blue carpet at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards, looking fashionable and displaying why we love them so much. Of course each one of them looked amazing. Kim wore all black embellished shoulder, Kourtney wore light color peach mini dress, Khloe wore deep v-neck shirt and banded skirt, Kendell wore high-wristed black leather skirt, with combat boot and Kylie wore a off white ruffle dress. Each one looked wonderful, Lamar fit right in with everyone. A Family that works together, reaps together.

Now Kendell and Kylie have started their careers at a young age. They both a modeling careers but going in different directions. Kendell is focusing more on shooting for clothing lines and fashion spreads, while Kylie is taking commercials by storm. The future looks bright for both sisters and I wish them nothing but the best. I look forward to watching them takeover the industry, as their sisters have.

Paving A New Way.

Indie Lover, Janelle Monae, has released her second single video "Cold War." The video is simply, just miss Monae on a black backdrop, camera tight on her the whole time. I love it. Its Perfect. Its very innovative.

Clock's Ticking.

Kanye West "Power," video from his fifth studio album. The title has recently changed, it was formerly Good Ass Job, but Kanye changed it. The album is set to be released October 12th

Can't wait for this new sh*t. Kanye always pushes the button, however, with this video he has step the level of the hip hop game up! G.O.O.D Music back in the building. Long over due.

Angel of Mine.

I discovered on Solange's blog, she did an interview and shoot for Refinery 29. I love the photos and how this woman keeps evolving. Her sense of style is so forward while embracing classic pieces. She mixes colorful prints of new designers with timeless pieces from well named fashion houses. She is also working on her third studio album, which will be amazing.

Our Generation.

John Legend and the ROOTS, team up with Levi's, to display the two musicians working on a new album, Wake Up. They pulled inspiration from the 60's and 70's, to help empower this generation to make a change. I look forward to hearing it soon.

Always Brighter at Dawn.

Recently Dawn, formerly of Danity Kane and member of Dirty Money, shoot for French Magazine, Ghubar. The spread was a reflection of her sense of style. The shoot was styled by Ugo Mozie.
I loved the styling and the editing of the photos. Dawn has always been one of the stylish artist from Danity Kane to Dirty Money. I really want a solo album from her.

Musical Genius.

Meet Ryan Leslie, the man behind great music. I have tracked the career of the man dating back to Cassie's first album, which he executive produced. his resume is long and so creditable, he's worked with some the best artist in the industry. This man's way of producing and creating his music is so pure and complex. I love that he uses actual instruments in the process. Then, his fashion sense is so ole school but modern. He is bring back the clean Hollywood glam to menswear. He wears European cut suit, bold colors with patterns and just the right accessories. In my book, he is a true musician and well on his way to being a legend/icon in the industry. Be on the look out for more coming from him.

Below is a Promo video of his two day, June 22nd and 32rd, concert at the Browey in NYC.
And here is a look into the life of the man.

Look to the Hill.

Lauryn Hill performed at the 2010 Harmony Festival in Santa Rosa, CA. She performed three old favorites; "Doo Wop (That Thing)", "Turn Your Lights Down Low", and "Ooh La La La". My favorite is "Turn Your Lights Down Low." I really want this young lady to come back and grace this world with some new music. Come back Lauryn.
